Your Body Knows How to Heal Itself

Unlock this knowledge of the self to enjoy lifelong health and well-being.

A brief Q&A on the Moksha Method

  • If my body knows how to heal itself, why do I sometimes lose health and well-being?

The human body is designed for continuous adaptation, but we often misuse this ability without even realizing it. Growing up, we learn that to live well we must constantly adapt to the world around us. But not all adaptations are beneficial. These mental and physical adaptations often go unnoticed until they manifest as signs and symptoms, which we then label as disease.

  • How does my state of mind affect my body's ability to heal?

The role of the mind in the healing process is not understood well. While we all accept that a negative state of mind leads to ill-health, we completely underestimate the tremendous healing potential of the right state of mind. At Moksha, we know that the right state of mind can unlock the body's in-built healing mechanisms to address the root cause of maladpatation and restore health and well-being.

  • How do you restore health and well-being at Moksha?

The body always tries to communicate with us through signs and symptoms, but we rarely stop and listen. At Moksha, we listen closely to the language of the body and decode it well. We then respond with the right knowledge to address the root cause of maladaptation. With the right knowledge, all maladaptations can be either reversed completely or managed well. The degree of reversal depends on the state of mind of the individual.

  • What does it mean to be well?

To be well is to experience the energy of a teenager, the joy of a child and a deep sense of contentment, always.

Dr Meenakshi Shal, Founder & Practitioner

Dr. Meenakshi Shal graduated in 1997 from SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, one of India’s pioneering institutions dedicated to holistic medicine and yogic sciences. Established in 1989, the college is renowned for its innovative curriculum that integrates holistic practices with modern scientific knowledge. Before relocating her practice to Singapore, Meena worked in Tamil Nadu’s healthcare system, where she restored health not just to her patients but also to surgeons and other medical professionals.

Her practice has had a profound impact on every person she has encountered, as evidenced by the powerful stories shared by our students. The depth of her knowledge and the wisdom she imparts has transformed many lives, guiding each individual on a journey towards true healing and self-awareness.

“This knowledge of the self was given to me at a very young age. Through my interactions with students and patients, I have continuously revised and rewritten this understanding. I have learned that for true growth and healing to happen, we must first honestly accept where we really stand. Once we do, healing and growth become self-progressive and effortless.”

Gauri Garodia, CEO & Practitioner

Gauri Garodia graduated from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, in 1996. With nearly three decades of experience in creative roles, she has developed expertise in creative perfumery, brand building, and product design.

Her journey with Moksha began when she sought Meena’s help for binocular vision dysfunction. What started as a simple quest for wellness soon turned into a journey of a lifetime. Through her studies with Meena and courses in Yoga Therapy, Gauri discovered not just healing but a profound understanding of what it truly means to live well. Having embraced the Moksha philosophy, Gauri now plays a pivotal role in sharing this knowledge with others.

"Throughout my career, no matter where I found myself, I always chose creative roles because I enjoyed them so much. And yet, I often felt as though something vital was missing. But today, as I prepare to share this knowledge with the world, I feel a deep sense of contentment - I have finally found and planted myself where I belong."

Many Students, Many Journeys. Here are just a few.
