About

Founder & Practitioner

Dr. Meenakshi Shal

Dr. Meenakshi Shal graduated in 1997 from SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, the first institution in Asia to integrate holistic and modern medicine.

At 19, Meena suffered a slipped disc that left her completely bedridden. Routine tests revealed a congenital heart condition and only a quarter of a functioning thyroid. The weight of these diagnoses was crushing. Immobilized by pain and uncertainty, she feared she might not complete her medical training.

With no clear path to recovery, she turned inward, questioning everything she had learned. Stripped of movement, she broke down yogic techniques to their essence and explored the most subtle forms of yoga - practices so refined they could be done even in stillness. As she practiced, she healed and realized that ancient yogic sciences hold immense potential. Healing, she discovered, was not about rigid systems or external interventions but about unlocking the body’s own intelligence.

This realization has shaped her approach to healing and teaching - first as a doctor within the Indian healthcare system where she worked with cardiologists and oncologists to develop clinical programs and later in Singapore. The experiences of her students stand as a testament to the transformation possible through the Moksha Method.

CEO & Practitioner

Mrs. Gauri Garodia

Gauri Garodia graduated from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, in 1996. She has nearly three decades of experience in creative perfumery, brand building, and product design, building a successful career in the world of innovation.

Her journey with Moksha began unexpectedly when she sought help for binocular vision dysfunction. Through her studies with Meena and training in Yoga Therapy, she experienced firsthand the depth of the Moksha Method - not just as a system of healing but as a path to true well-being.

As she practiced, she was struck by how subtle shifts in breath and movement could do more than correct her vision - they could shift her entire state of being. She began to understand that healing was not about force but about listening - tuning in, trusting, and working with the body’s intelligence.

This realization led her to deepen her studies under Meena’s guidance. Bringing the same curiosity and creativity that once shaped fragrances and brands, she now plays a pivotal role in making the Moksha Method accessible to others.
